Rose & Remington, a stylish new store will be opening its doors at Millcreek Mall this summer. It will be located in an 8,600 square foot space in the Boscov’s Concourse.

Rose & Remington is a fast-growing women’s lifestyle store that offers affordable, “boho-chic” clothing, accessories, gifts, and home décor. The store carries a wide selection of eclectic jewelry, candles and other items that support nationwide & global initiatives to help others. They also offer opportunities to host giveback events to support local non-profit organizations.

The Millcreek Mall location will be the first Rose & Remington in Pennsylvania.

Boscov’s, which operates a store at the Millcreek Mall, set a $1 million charitable fundraising goal when it kicked off its 25th-anniversary Friends Helping Friends event on Wednesday.

“Throughout the markets we serve, over 3,000 non-profit organizations have been working to distribute shopping passes giving their supporters a 25% discount on almost everything we sell,” said Jim Boscov, Chairman of the privately-owned company.

In addition to the discount passes distributed to nonprofits, customers can receive a discount pass for making a $5 contribution to charity.

Based in Reading, Boscov’s operates 49 stores in Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, Connecticut, Rhode Island and Ohio.

There is a new interactive challenge opening today at the Millcreek Mall.

Our newest reporter Fontaine Glenn got a sneak peak into 5 Wits.

You have to use your wits to get through these interactive adventures. There are lots of lights, decorations and creativity that went into each challenge.

There are three interactive challenges you can participate in — Drago’s Castle, The Tomb and Espionage. Each one has their own story line. For example, in Espionage you are a spy and have to crawl through lasers in one of the rooms.

This location in Erie marks the seventh 5 Wits location in the nation.
