A Weekend of New Beginnings

 

Two popular retailers will be welcoming their first customers this week at South Hill Mall in Puyallup, Washington.  Both of them are located near the Dick’s Sporting Goods Court.  On Friday, April 17, Pandora will celebrate its grand opening.   The 1,000 square foot jewelry store will be located across from Bath & Body Works.  Customers who visit the store April 17-26 will get $25 off any purchase of $145 or more.  Pandora is a world-renowned Danish jewelry brand founded in 1982, specializing in high-quality, hand-finished, and contemporary pieces at accessible price points. Known for its customizable charm bracelets, rings, necklaces, and earrings, Pandora creates, markets, and designs jewelry using responsibly sourced materials like sterling silver, 14k/18k gold, and lab-grown diamonds.

The following day, April 18, MINISO will open just around the corner, in a 4,800 space next to GameStop.  A formal ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 11 AM.  The first 50 customers through the door will receive 20% off their entire purchase.  Throughout the weekend, all customers will enjoy a 10% discount off regular prices.

New Additions with an Asian Flair

 

Two new additions are heading to the Millcreek Mall Complex later this spring, each of them with a distinctly Asian Flavor.  While exact opening dates have not been announce, both are expected to open by June.

 

Ginza Sushi and Steak House will welcome its guests in a stand-alone, 10,600 square foot building outside the main mall, located close to Peach Street. The building is now undergoing an extensive restoration.  As its name implies, Ginza offers a huge and tempting selection of sushi and sashimi dishes, prepared with the freshest ingredients.  But it doesn’t end there.  Chefs will also serve up sizzling specialties from the hibachi grills.  The kitchen will offer taste-tempting entrees like Sesame Tuna Steak and Basil Filet Mignon, not to mention Teriyaki and Tempura favorites. There is even a children’s menu.

            “Life is for Fun.” That’s the slogan of MINISO.  This rapidly growing retailer will bring its broad selection of housewares and collectibles to a 2,800 square foot space in the Boscov’s concourse, across from Buckle.  MINISO (pronounced MINI-so) offers lifestyle products such as kitchenware, travel bags, health & beauty products, fashion accessories, small electronics, packaged food items, home storage, bathroom supplies and plush toys. The design flavor is distinctly Asian.  Since the opening of its first store in China in 2013, the company has built its flagship brand “MINISO” as a globally recognized retail brand and established a network of over 5,500 stores worldwide.

 

The Millcreek Mall Complex is located on upper Peach Street and Interstate 79 in Millcreek Township, near Erie, Pennsylvania.  It has been serving the community since 1975. “Life is for Fun.” That’s the slogan of a new retailer coming soon to Huntington Mall in Barboursville, West Virginia.  Fun is also the best way to describe the products offered by MINISO.  This rapidly growing retailer will bring its broad selection of housewares and collectibles to a 3,000 square foot space between Journeys and Perfume Villa The store is scheduled to open in mid-summer.
