Meadowbrook Mall will host a Ribbon-Cutting ceremony for its newest, but well-renowned sit-down restaurant, The Weekend Bistro & Bar. The Weekend opened this past December but now will formally celebrate its arrival at Meadowbrook Mall.

The Weekend Bistro & Bar serves a full brunch, dinner, and kids menu with a rotating selection of dinner and cocktail specials.  In addition, it also hosts Trivia Nights, live music, and more entertainment for the whole family. A Cabell County eatery is set to reopen in the spring of 2026, according to management. (Buffalo Wild Wings)

 

BARBOUSVILLE, W.Va. (WCHS) — A Cabell County restaurant is about to reopen after an extensive makeover.

Buffalo Wild Wings in Barboursville is being renovated under new ownership, according to a news release from management.

Portsmouth-based Schmidt Family Restaurant Group is leading the remodeling effort which will include upgrades to the bar, dining areas, seating and electronics.

Buffalo Wild Wings is the largest sports bar brand in the U.S. with more than 1,000 locations offering chicken, burgers, appetizers and a bar menu.

The eatery – located at 970 West Mall Road – is expected to reopen in the early spring.
