Choices and changes at Governor’s Square Mall

New names for a wide variety of tastes are heading to Governor’s Square Mall in the coming months. In March, D&K Menswear will open its third Tennessee store at the mall. The roughly 2,200 square foot shop will be located in the Belk Concourse, next to Hibbett Sports. The store offers a great selection of both casual and formal men’s apparel. D&K Menswear is known for high quality suits from world-class designers like Ralph Lauren, Hugo Boss, Michael Kors, Stacy Adams, London Fog, and Calvin Klein. Attentive stylists will help customers finish their look with the right shoes and accessories. There are suits for kids 8 to size 80 and tuxedo rentals for those big occasions. Because a tailor works on the premises, suits can be altered and ready within in hours.

American Eagle Outfitters will be expanding into a much larger space to create room for its sister-brand, aerie. Aerie specializes in intimate apparel, as well as loungewear, sleepwear, dorm-wear and accessories. The new 8,600 square foot American Eagle/aerie store will be open on Center Court sometime in May. Around the same time, the Spencer’s store it is displacing will re-open in a new location in the Sears Concourse, next to Hallmark.

Look for two other new stores, Carter’s and Cinnabon, to open by June. Carter’s will offer its trusted brand of clothing for infants and children in a 5,000 square foot location in the Sears Concourse. Carter’s is the leading brand of children’s clothing, gifts and accessories in America, selling more than 10 products for every child born in the U.S. Its reputation for quality and innovation has earned it the trust of generations of families since 1865.

If all that shopping leaves you craving a snack, head to the new Cinnabon. The 1,400 square foot store will be located near the interior entrances for Dick’s Sporting Goods and Ross Dress for Less. In addition to its classic cinnamon rolls, Cinnabon serves up a tempting array of baked goods, specialty coffee and iced drinks.

Governor’s Square Mall, located in Clarksville, Tennessee, has been serving the community since 1986. It comprises over one million square feet of retail space, anchored by Dillards, Belk, Sears, JCPenney, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Target, Ross Dress for Less and over 100 other specialty shops and services.
