CAFARO Governor’s Square Mall
The annual ritual of Back-to-School shopping is a little easier thanks to a Tax-Free Holiday Weekend in the state of Tennessee. Friday, July 29 through Sunday July 31 is a perfect time to head to the Governor’s Square Mall because there will be no sales tax on some of the most important items the kids need for the coming school year. This applies to items of clothing priced $100 or less, school supplies priced $100 or less and computers priced $1,500 or less. This tax-free status applies to each individual item, with no limit on total quantities consumers purchase. There are a few limits on the tax-free designation. For more specific details of the Tax-Free Weekend, visit: https://www.tn.gov/revenue/article/sales-tax-holiday.
